Falkland and District Community Association

The Falkland and District Community Association was established in 1929 as the Falkland and District Social Association and later changed to Falkland and District Fall Fair Association. In 1933 the present name of the association became the Falkland and District Community Association.

The Association is a a non profit group that owns and manages the Falkland Stampede grounds, purchased in 1948, including the Curling Rink and Skating rink as well as the Falkland Community Hall, built in 1936.

The Association hosts the annual Falkland Stampede which raises funds not only for the Association but for the Falkland Museum and Heritage Park, the Falkland Seniors Branch #95, The Sunday Mourners as well as local businesses and artisans.  The funds raised allow the community to continue to provide community services and events for free to families, children, seniors and veterans.
